🗓️ Week 8

This week, I poured 42 hours into researching, coding, and documenting 1 project, fueled by 12 cups of coffee.  I participated in 1 calls to discuss goals, progress, and challenges.

I plan to implement tooling to analyse trends in EVM memory usage. I spent time reviewing the analysis for MCOPY by Ipsilon.

I reviewed the geth state transition tool (t8n) tool and experimented with simple, stateless memory analysis - especially to see how I could trace memory usage. Rest of the week was spent setting up and syncing a local geth node along with typescript scripts using viem.

The goal of this excercise is to generate data to support Proposals to adjust memory gas costs.
